My story

About the Author

Altieri J. Farinoli Jr.

Born and raised in a small New England town, I grew up surrounded by forests, rivers, and long quiet roads that shaped my love of nature and storytelling. Raised by my grandmother and grandfather — both products of a time when resilience and resourcefulness were essential — I developed an early fascination with history, ancient civilizations, and the myths that connected them.

That deep-rooted curiosity became the foundation of my storytelling. After serving in the United States Army, I carried that same discipline and sense of wonder into a lifetime of exploration — both on horseback across the trails of New Hampshire and across the pages of myth and history in my writing.

My work is deeply connected to a form of storytelling I’ve coined “Mytholithic Storytelling” — weaving together original myths with existing legends, archaeology, hard science, biology, and suspense to create immersive narratives that blur the line between history and imagination. Each story invites readers to not only turn the page, but to follow the research, question what they know, and see the world through new eyes.
